The Cat Mate C20 2 Bowl Pet Feeder with Ice Pack can hold a total of 1 pound (2 1/4 cups) of food in each compartment. So it’s on the smallish end of the spectrum in terms of feeders.
Wet Food!
It’s an excellent choice for wet or semi-moist food as it has an ice pack you can freeze and place below the food you set out in the trays. (Please don’t go for more than a day with wet food sitting out even with the ice packs.)

The timer for setting up to 48 hours in advance.
Bowls
The bowls are easy to clean, but they’re made of plastic. Keep that in mind.

Wet food. If you’ve been looking around, you already know what I’m about to tell you. Most automatic cat food feeders are designed for dry food. See above. If you’re going to make a dispenser that works with wet food, you better make allowances for keeping the wet food as fresh as possible. The Cat Mate C20 2 Bowl Pet Feeder with Ice Pack ticks that box. There just aren’t that many feeders that have an ice pack, so I’m glad Cat Mate has opted to differentiate itself in this way. - Nothing to It
Pet Mate, the British company that manufactures the feeder, has kept things mercifully simple and cheap. (More on cheap in a moment.) There are two independent timers and you literally wind them. This is mechanical timer, like those we used to set our lamps on when we went of vacation. They worked just fine then and they were perfectly fine today. - Cheap But Good
At the time of this writing, this was one of the least expensive feeders on the market. Check the price here, but you could buy 10 of these compared to what some of the high-end models. Not everyone needs all that digital stuff. Sometimes a simple and efficient feeder is all one needs. And that’s precisely what the Cat Mate C20 2 Bowl Pet Feeder with Ice Pack.
Who Should Buy the Cat Mate C20 2 Bowl Pet Feeder with Ice Pack
Well, as I just mentioned, if you don’t need all of other stuff. If you go on frequent vacations, this is not the right feeder for you. You can only program two food trays. If you’re gone for any kind of time, this is not gonna be so practical.
There’s been some buzz from users about the overall security of the lids that cover the food. It seems pretty clear that if your cat is one of those determined ones who has a knack for breaking into food, they’ll find a way to get into this feeder. So if you’re cat is mellow yellow, then you’ll be fine. Otherwise, I’d think twice.
On the other hand, if your around all the time and your cat is getting you up at 4:30 a.m. because he’s hungry, this is your dream come true and it won’t set you back a bajillion dollars. And the thing is made well. It’s study and durable.
The Bottom Line
No. This is not a top-of-the-line food dispenser. There is no hopper that can take 12 cups of kibble and apportion it over several days of programmed 
meals. Not that kind of machine. This is straight ahead, no frills automatic cat feeder that does what it sets out to do: make your life easier by feeding your cat up twice a day. Do I wish it had a few more amenities. Yeah, I do. Even just low battery indicator would have been nice.
Having said all that, if you need a good, steady feeder for your cat and don’t mind setting the food in the trays every day, then could do a lot worse than the Cat Mate C20 2 Bowl Pet Feeder with Ice Pack.
