As some of you may know, this business with not being able to tell how much food is in the hopper is a pet peeve of mine. Wopet again has been thoughtful. The lid is clear, so you can see right into the hopper. The company has designed a locking feature to the lid, so it’s totally secure.

Portion Settings
You can change the amount of food you serve from one meal to the next. You could, for instance, serve twice the amount at one feeding and cut back later in the day. This is super helpful in terms of controlling your cat’s food intake across a day.

How about everything. I’ve waited too long to review this excellent feeder.

Again, I can see why people have gravitated toward it and made it an Amazon bestseller.

But like everything in life, there are some qualifications.

First and foremost, this machine is strictly dry food. So sorry wet food feeders. The Wopet 7L Automatic Pet Feeder Food Dispenser for Cats will not work for you. These large-capacity units just can’t handle wet or even semi-moist food most of the time.

The portion size starts at two teaspoons. That works for me but if you can have more control with other feeders. Those other feeders start at one teaspoon. In those cases, you can really get fine-grained with the portions.
